A few true things, in no particular order.

I’m warm. I value putting people at ease and I like understanding what makes them tick.

I’m selfish. I see the best in people and treat them well because it makes me like the girl in the mirror a little more.

I’m intentional. I carefully choose the people I spend time with, but I’m not particular about the time, place, or activity.

I like the intersection of novelty and familiarity. I return to the same places on holiday, order the same thing, sit at the same table. I keep the setting fixed so my company can be the variable. I want to be surprised by people.

I love art, because I believe that it connects us to our legacy and shows us how earlier humans made meaning. I love sport, because I enjoy being an audience to dedication and excellence. I love fashion, because my eyes are greedy and I like beautiful people.

I believe in the improbable. Almost everything good in my life arrived late, sideways, or unplanned. You reading this is already unlikely. I’d like to see how much further it goes.
